Jason Egan is an American Captain with 25 years at sea. He started his career in Maui Hawaii and proceeded to cross the pacific on a 54 meter to Hong Kong then around the northern pacific, Alaska, and Hawaii again, then back to Hong Kong and finally all the way to France. He has been based in France since 2000 and has travelled the entirety of the Med. Jason is currently the Captain onboard MY Only Now and will take care of any of your special requests or needs! He welcomes you onboard MY Only Now with his fantastic crew!

Maggie, your chief stewardess onboard, brings with her nine years of valuable experience in the service industry. With a global work history spanning countries such as Saudi Arabia, America, South Africa, and Italy, she has honed her skills in interacting with diverse cultures and people. Growing up by the ocean, Maggie developed a profound love for all things water-related. Her upbringing, with a Captain as her father, naturally steered her towards her current profession. Maggie is a positive, outgoing individual with an innate curiosity for solving puzzles, whether they are physical challenges or figurative problems. Her cheerful demeanour and eagerness to engage with guests ensure that service with a smile is always guaranteed.

Meet Jason, Mate onboard ONLY NOW from South Africa. Having spent his entire life around water, he possesses an innate understanding of the sea. Jason is your go-to person for exciting excursions on the tender and thrilling water sports adventures, ensuring guests have endless fun with an array of water toys and activities. His contagious smile and cheerful demeanour light up the atmosphere, making every moment memorable. Jason takes immense pride in his work, dedicating himself to ensuring that guests have a fantastic time under his care while onboard.

Chris is our Danish engineer onboard. Chris has from a very young age shown interest in engines and mechanics, and at an age of 4 he got his first Atv. Chris has a background as a steel worker and certificate welder for 8 years, before he decided take a Bachelor degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering. Chris’ original plan was to use his education in a position as a project manager and commissioning, but was introduced to the yachting industry instead. Chris has worked as an engineer on different types of yachts, such as explorer yachts, classic yachts and the normal white ones. Chris has still today a high interest for everything with an engine, especially motorbikes and cars.

Matachley joins ONLY NOW as Second Stewardess with a strong foundation in both private and charter yachting, combined with a dynamic, can-do attitude and a natural flair for guest service.

Having stepped straight into a Sole Stewardess role early in her career, Matachley quickly developed independence, resilience, and exceptional problem-solving skills. Her experience onboard M/Y Wyldecrest saw her confidently managing all interior operations—from housekeeping and laundry to guest service, provisioning, and inventory control—while also supporting deck operations when required.

Matachley is highly detail-oriented and thrives in fast-paced charter environments, where her proactive approach ensures guests’ needs are anticipated before they are expressed. She has a particular strength in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere onboard, combining polished service with genuine personality.

Her background in event coordination and hospitality further enhances her ability to deliver seamless guest experiences, from curated table settings to smooth service flow and memorable onboard moments.

Fluent in English and Afrikaans, Matachley brings excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative team spirit to the interior team. Organized, creative, and highly adaptable, she is a valuable asset onboard ONLY NOW, contributing to a refined yet relaxed charter experience.

With over fifteen years of experience as a chef across a number of European countries, he has developed a versatile culinary style shaped by a wide range of hospitality environments. His background includes fine dining restaurants, event catering, bespoke retreats, pintxo bars, and extensive work within the yachting industry, where he has served both as a sole chef on charter yachts and as part of larger galley teams.
